We continue to meet THURSDAYS and SATURDAYS every week.  Thursday sessions are regular playing sessions, and we basically meet for games.  Saturday sessions are study sessions where we get together to do some problems and other fun stuff, like play more games.  Thursdays we play at the Hopkins Center Cafe in Hanover (next to the Hood Museum Shop) from 2pm to 8pm (just drop by within that time slot).  Most Saturdays we play at the Hopkins Center Cafe from 2pm to 5pm.  On the second Saturday of every month, we usually play at Borders Cafe inside Borders Bookstore at 285 Plainfield Road, West Lebanon from 2pm to 5pm.

*NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS*

1) STUDY SESSION ON SATURDAY (TOMORROW)
We will be meeting at the Hopkins Center Cafe tomorrow for a study session from 2pm to 5pm.  Drop by for some fun.  We might do some rengo simul if enough players show.

2) NEXT SATURDAY (9th Dec)
Please be informed that the session at Borders will be cancelled, as most club members will be attending the tournament at Middlebury in Vermont.  So if you are not coming with us to the tournament, DO NOT SHOW UP AT BORDERS.

3) SUBERI IN VERMONT (9th Dec)
This is the previously mentioned tournament in Vermont.  It is listed on the AGA events calendar as shown below.  We will probably be car pooling, and so far, Alex, Karen, Jing and Nate have expressed interest.  If you want to come along and are not already listed here, please e-mail goclub@plomp.com.

4)STUDY MATERIAL
There is a new section in the webpage on Sensei's Library.  If any member wishes to add to the study wishlist, feel free to do so.  We can discuss these topics when we meet on Saturday.  Any queries at any level of play are welcome.

5) HANDICAP TABLE UPDATED
Due to the recent surge in attendance, the club handicap table has been updated to include our latest members.  It is attached above.

6) INFO FOR BEGINNERS AND NEW MEMBERS.
The above has been removed from the newsletter and added to the end of the club website on Sensei's Library (http://senseis.xmp.net/?UpperValleyGoClub).  New members and beginners should read through the section, it contains instructions on playing with the club online, as well as links to useful websites for beginners to learn the game.  

7) PUBLICITY
Continue to send goclub@plomp.com the names and e-mails of any friends you have who might be interested in our club.
